Helen is a passionate yoga and dance enthusiast. She has been practising yoga for over thirteen years and is a certified Yoga Teacher. Her classes focus on 'flow', weaving breath and movement together to flow as one, and typically include sun salutations and a variety of postures that move and flow with the breath, as well as held postures that create moments of 'pause.' Helen introduces a meditation theme for each class and invites you to journey on this theme through the vehicle of your body - to awaken your body’s innate wisdom, freedom and joy. 

Classes are open to everyone - beginners to advanced. Postures can be adapted to suit your ability, whether you are stiff as a board or as flexible as a bendy gymnast! Yoga is for every body and Helen encourages a light hearted, joyful approach to yoga. 

Helen's Influences come from Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Heart Yoga, as well as her love of dance - with inspiration drawn from international teachers such as John Scott, Donna Farhi and, most recently, Karuna Erickson. Helen has been practicing yoga for over thirteen years and became a certified Yoga Teacher with Yoga Works in 2009. She is delighted to share her passion for yoga through teaching.
