SUMMER SOMATIC YOGA mini series with River

Patterns of tension held in the body are brought into the light of Awareness so that they may be released. Through a series of slow, simple movements we learn to recognise and release these patterns of tension stored in the fascial tissue, bringing freedom and wholeness to the body-heart-mind. $150/ 6 sessions. This Pay What You Can (PWYC) workshop offers ways to get clients that are deeply respectful, trauma-informed, and conscience-driven. Marketing can feel good. That's the premise of this workshop. Too much marketing (even by savvy, conscious entrepreneurs) creates either no response or seems “over-hyped” and triggers a “used car salesman” reaction. In short, it feels awful. Since 2001, I have traveled around North America & Europe working with conscious entrepreneurs just like you. Some successful, others struggling. And I've gathered quite the assortment of success stories and strategies right from the horses' mouths. This workshop is my best distillation and collection of those practices and stories. As Moon becomes full, we gather in circle to slow down, listen in and reconnect with Moon's rhythm. Each month we take a deep dive journey through body and soul to release, and seek wisdom and guidance to integrate back into our daily lives. Nature is our co-guide, as we dance with the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit. We create safe space for you to show up as you are and be yourself. Through dance, drum journeying, soul retrieval, crafting, and nature-based ritual, we reclaim our power in and through the body. Through a curated arc of six in-person retreats, and in a supportive circle of sisterhood, we will journey through the different archetypes of being Woman: Child, Rebel, Young Woman, Mother, Enchantress, and Crone, culminating in a Death and Rebirth ritual. Through guided ritual, reflection, writing practice, dance and a powerful ritual inspired by Joanna Macy (Truth Mandala) we tend our personal and collective grief. Everyone will have an opportunity to share and express what they feel called to share, but you are not required to do so. Witnessing plays an invaluable role, and your attentive presence makes a difference. This ritual draws inspiration from the teachings of Francis Weller and Joanna Macy.
